Peace Now!

Today marks the annual International Day of Peace organised by the Peace One Day campaign. To show our support for the campaign we will donate £1 for every order placed online at www.naturalcollection.com on September 21 2007.

Like Peace One Day, Natural Collection believes that peace starts very small. Today maybe you will make up with someone, maybe you will end an argument, perhaps you will say something nice to someone instead of something harsh, and so on. Ultimately peace comes from small beginnings. And it starts with all of us.

Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK and this week's 'Carnival of the Green' is found at Greener Magazine. What caught my eye this time is the interesting suggestions of how to reuse old newspapers for gifts. Very inventive.

This week the 'Carnival of the Green' is hosted by Green Options and I am astounded to learn  via EcoGeek about the potential for crowd farms i.e. harnessing the power of pedestrian steps. Imagine that?
