Just found this idea of vertical urban farms a fascinating idea. Not sure how viable it is but it is definitely seriously clever lateral thinking, or should that be vertical thinking?

Plastic carrier bags are a real concern all over the world, with production reaching epic proportions, but finding a well-made, solid shopping trolley that can hold large quantities and isn’t made from PVC has been a challenge! Well, we’ve done it!

1) Put a brick in your toilet tank - reduce the amount you flush
2) Shower instead of taking a bath - check out our great water-saving shower head!
3) Switch off taps when you can i.e. when you are brushing your teeth
4) Rinse vegetables in a small bowl of water instead of leaving the tap running
5) Fill a bucket to wash your car instead of using a hose
