Well it never rains but it pours. Not only did we feature in the 'Top 20 Environment Websites visited in April' just a few days ago but we have also won the Real Homes magazine Eco Awards 2007 'Best Online Retailer' AND been shortlisted for the Observer Ethical Awards 'Online Retailer of the Year' 2007.
Nice to be shortlisted again having won the inaugural award last year. Thanks so much to everyone who nominated us. Very humbling. Fingers crossed for June 8th when the winners are announced. Will keep you posted of course.
The Real Homes award judges were Rose Smith, Deputy Editor of Real Homes, Penney Poyzer, Eco expert and presenter of BBC TV programme 'No Waste Like Home' and Peter Robinson, Director of Waste Watch, a charity that promotes sustainable resource use.
We are very proud when all our hard work is recognised. We go a long way to making sure that everything in our collection is assessed against a well-researched and comprehensive set of criteria, formulated with our independent environmental advisor, to ensure that the products we feature are in the best interest of people, planet and the animals we share it with.
What can we say other than thank you to everyone for your continued support.
Jo & Julian
Congratulations!
