To continue the Spring 08 favourites series here are my top three picks for the kitchen:
Fairtrade certified cotton tea towels from Sarah Smith
Kitchen caddies for organic waste to collect your compostables in
Recycled plastic food can crusher to save space when storing cans for recycling
The tea towels make me smile every time I see them :)
Cheers

g'morning!
Those tea towels are great. I could do with some new ones as all of ours have holes in them and I'm sure dd would join in if she had her own pink flowery tea towel to use!
I've always thought those individual drinking bottles with the filters look neat and I don't think any home should be without a bean sprouter (or two!) Cheap, highly nutritious and delcious food.
Talking of delicious - I just spotted the chocolate brownies recipe on your site with the dates in it. Ooooo, yummmy; I feel a baking session coming on!
Have a wonderful weekend,

what kitchen couldn't do with a few new tea towels, i use mine until they are more hole than towel!! what better than fair trade ones that bring a smile to your face. As far as i can i will always chose fairtrade products over others and i make the children do the reclying to try and give them a strong awareness of the way forward. In my company when i send out goods i always reuse packaging, this also cuts down on my reclce bin over spillage, i have a shredder and use this shredded paper as stuffing for the breakable items that i send out. i love your three ideas.
